daniella etel courban is an East coast transplant to Las Vegas. She is a full time artist currently working on a project called Yom Rishon which is the visual retelling of the story of creation inspired by the Sefer Yetzirah (an ancient Jewish mystical/magical/meditative text). She has presented this work-in-progress at the 2025 American Academy of Religion-Western Region annual conference at the intersection of religion/art/culture. daniella’s artwork is in over 200 private collections and she has been involved in greater than 30 solo and group exhibitions. She has a background that spans art, medicine, teaching and writing. When not painting or drawing she can be found studying Hebrew, swimming, doing yoga, and deeply appreciating coffee and chocolate.
